    Deterioting of SKILLS

Wednesday, March 19, 2008, 02:24 AM AWST [General]

Recently I've tried using a reactive ball with conventional drilling and my scores went up drastically. However, when I played the next day after I achieve my high score, the scores went down to a really low level and I can't even convert easy spares!!

Is it because my wrist and fingers need rest? Or the ball doesn't fit me? I've thought of swicthing to spinner style lately but I have no idea about it.

Perhaps I could get some answers from you all that are willing to help me out. I wish to know about spinner technique bowling's ball drilling, ways to deliver it and everything about it. It's also known as UFO/Helicopter release!

Please help me out, and assist me in becoming a great rookie of bowling world. Thank you very much!!

I think it's just a matter of figuring out your ball and getting comfortable with it. I had the same problems with my last ball... I bowled great my first time out with it then just completely horrible for about a month till I adjusted. Don't get discouraged. Remember, it's supposed to have fun... When you're upset you put even more pressure on yourself causing you to miss those easy spares. Keep working the kinks out and practicing. -Tom
